Brandon Barnes scored a last-minute winner to send Bitton to the top of the Premier Division as previous leaders Willand slipped up.

Barnes struck in stoppage-time to give Bitton a 2-1 victory at Odd Down, Aaron Blakemore having opened the scoring from the penalty spot for Richard Fey's side.

Odd Down equalised when Simon Gilbert followed up after Sam Alexander parried his first-half penalty, the goalkeeper having earlier saved a retaken spot-kick from the same player after the referee had ruled out the first attempt for encroachment.

Willand had looked on course to remain top of the table after Perry Carpenter's 32nd-minute free-kick opener, but Brislington hit back for a 2-1 away triumph.

Recent signing Neikell Plummer notched the equaliser and Mike Rimmer struck the winner from the penalty spot after the hosts' Simon Hill had been sent off.

Bishop Sutton surged into third position with a 6-1 demolition of bottom side Sherborne despite Lewis Morgan giving the strugglers a 15th-minute lead.

Goals from Kyle Shallcross and Jordan Metters quickly turned things around, though, before a Billy Downes double, one from Todd Winter and an own goal completed the rout.

Merthyr moved fourth with a 4-1 home win over Wells, while Larkhall and Bristol Manor Farm drew 1-1.

Hallen needed a late goal to triumph 1-0 at Street, while Ilfracombe won 2-0 at Longwell Green.

Barnstaple ran out 3-1 home winners against Radstock, while Corsham beat visiting Bridport 2-0.

One point separates the top three sides in the First Division after third-placed Melksham won 2-1 at Gillingham and Cadbury Heath beat Chard 2-0.

Gillingham still lead the table by a point from Heath and Melksham, but their rivals have four and two games in hand respectively.

Mark Reynolds grabbed both goals in Heath's win over Chard, scoring 20 minutes in and with 20 minutes to go.

Fourth-placed Calne lost 2-0 at lowly Shepton Mallet, while fifth-placed Bradford were held to a 3-3 draw at Welton.

Hengrove went down 2-1 at Westbury, while Portishead leapt up four places to ninth, leapfrogging their opponents in the process, with a 3-0 win at Roman Glass St George.

All the goals came during the first half with Ash McGrane scoring twice and James Clarke adding the third.

Bottom-of-the-table Devizes won their second game in row – a 1-0 home victory over Almondsbury UWE, while Oldland against Wellington; and Elmore versus Shrewton were postponed.
