Bright finishes on top in Wiltshire u18 event

Tom Bright (Bromham) won the Wiltshire short mat bowls under 18 singles championship thanks to his better shots average at Seend Community Hall.

His opening match against Aidan Wickes (Westbury Blue Circle) was a draw and then he beat newcomer Roman Jeggo (Melksham and Shaw) by ten shots. Wickes then took on Jeggo and won by four shots. Bright will also represent Wiltshire in the under 18 singles national championship in March.
