Melksham Oak Now "Officially" Open

Shelley Rudman, winner of silver in the skeleton bob in the 2006 Winter Olympic Games, was at Melksham Oak School last week to open the school "officially".

Although pupils and teachers have been at the school since July 12 last year, the official opening was held to mark the first anniversary.

Shelley unveiled a plaque in the school hall and the ceremony was broadcast live to classrooms so all the pupils could see it.
