According to the Wiltshire Times, someone has finally been charged with the murder of Trowbridge builder Adrian Cooksey.

Richard Elmes, of Melksham, was charged with manslaughter and perverting the course of justice following Mr Cooksey's death after an assault in Spa Road, in Melksham, in the early hours of March 8, 2009.

Need to be careful what to say with a live case again, but I do find myself perplexed that this is a case that someone else was put through a full murder trial for and acquitted, and now a new name comes up. Interesting to note "peverting the course of justice" too.

I think it says manslaughter quite clearly in the second para, and yes I agree that it will be "interesting" to see the full story unfold.
