Melksham Campus - an update for businesses next Tuesday

Wiltshire Council's Melksham Campus, to be sited just off the Market Square, is be a wonderful opportunity to integrate sporting, leisure and other services provided by the council with retail and other services in the town centre. The project is being run by "County", but with strong local inputs from the Shadow Campus Operations Board (SCOB) - chaired by Councillor Roy While.

Currently, the SCOB is meeting with many local groups. That's to learn about their requirements and aspirations for the Campus, and also to update those groups on the Campus project.

Roy While will be the main speaker at the Melksham Chamber of Commerce meeting next Tuesday - that's 21st February, at Well House Manor on Spa Road. There will also be a generous opportunity to ask questions, and make comments / inputs. The meeting is an Open Meeting - so you're welcome to come along whether you / your company are a member of the Chamber of Commerce of not.

The meeting starts at 18:30, and there is plenty of free parking on site.

This is an excellent opportunity to make your inputs early in the specification and design process - at a time when elements can be built in or out much more easily than later on!
