"On Friday, 8, February 2013, a 30 year old local man was walking along the high street when he was head butted by another man.
A 36 year old was arrested for Common Assault and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Wiltshire Police would like anyone who saw the incident to contact them for more information.
Local Crime Investigator, Eleanor Bettles said: "As part of my investigation I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and either witnessed the incident or has any information relating to it."
"Even the smallest piece of information might help us in this investigation."
Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information can call the 101 non emergency number and asking for Local Crime Investigator Eleanor Bettles at Melksham Police Station. Alternatively witnesses can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously."
It says, "I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time", but the report doesn't mention what time the incident occurred.
If you could perhaps follow up with more information about when it happened, that might lead to people coming forward? Perhaps?
