Is anyone else here on the "People's Voice" panel for Wiltshire? Latest one asks some very closed questions about public transport. I can't help thinking for instance that the elderly are completely the wrong age-group to benefit from subsidised transport. Apologies if this comes across as harsh, but quite frankly they've had a lifetime to plan for their retirement, and most of their journeys are for social, domestic and pleasure purposes anyway. It should be the youngsters who are travelling to college and out looking for work who receive council subsidies. They haven't had a chance to earn, and their parents are hard pushed enough as it is. Sadly there's no option to express such an opinion though, tongue in cheek or otherwise!

I didn’t know about this panel so have just looked it up on the following rather lengthy link:

I have applied to join so I can understand what you mean Phil! By the way I am going to be at the Xmas Fair tomorrow so maybe see you there?

Well I tried to fill in the form to apply for membership of the "People's Voice" panel and I just keep going round and round in circles as the site would not click on to the next page. I rang the council and got stonewalled there too. Do they not want is to know about this panel? It certainly has not been well publicised!
