Well House Manor to Open for Cream Teas and Internet 1st June

Just coming back to this old article with an update. This weekend just gone (12th and 13th May 2012), the Well House Collection of a museum for Melksham opened at Well House Manor. It's open every afternoon through the summer, and we're serving Strawberry Cream Teas all through the summer too. Come Autumn, we'll be changing from Transport to a new theme, and we'll switch once again from the summery cream teas to winter warmers. Link to cafe - http://tinyurl.com/6qwndnr

Actually carrying on right through ... we've been on a "Winter Warmer" menu for the last few months, switching back to Cream teas (with a new scone recipe too) at the start of May [2012]. Watch this space if you want to know what's happening on 12th May too!

A brief follow up from me - great dress rehearsal yesterday, and we're open again today. It struck me that we have been shouting "cream teas in the garden" ... but on a wet day like today, I should be telling all you folks that we have even more seats inside than we have out, and that we do good lines in coffee, toast, croissants, and freshly squeezed orange juice too. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., 7 days a week, all summer!

Thanks, Sasha ... also looking for a good turnout for the dress rehearsals which start this Sunday (29th May). We need plenty of people through the doors on 29th, 30th and 31st to keep up on our toes, and to help eat the mountains of British strawberries, clotted cream, and much more that Sarah, Rachel and Heather have sourced from near Devizes, from Semington, etc.
