Talking of Melksham Job Opportunities ....

In addition to my writing about new jobs for Melksham people in 2011, I’ve just heard that the Gazette and Herald and The Wiltshire Times have got together with Wiltshire College’s commerical arm, Wiltshire Enterprise, to find 100 new apprentices in just 100
days.
To kick of the search, 100 balloons were let off at Trowbridge College to symbolise the 100 apprentices.
There are lots of young people in Melksham who are desperate to find work. Wiltshire Enterprise can hopefully provide the training expertise,
so they are now also looking for employers to sign up to take on apprentices.
Apprentices are paid a minimum of £95 a week and the government pays
for the training package, which is mostly carried out on the firm's
premises.
Wiltshire College offers a wide range of apprenticeships in all areas of
commerce and bespoke training packages for firms with
specialist needs.
Businesses and young people can apply on the Wiltshire Enterprise website, call 01225 756415 or follow the campaign on twitter @WiltsEnterprise
